Hello, due to the recent developments, described here (scroll to my last post), I am thinking that I should probably buy a 9250 with plenty of RAM (128 or 256). Some questions:

1) Is the card slower significantly than a 9000? Not by benchmarks, but from practical usage point of view.

2) Is there a specific AGP Mac version of the card, that I should look after?

3) I have a PowerMac 3.1, is there a specific version for my system (i.e. one with universal AGP connectors / pins cut out, etc)?

4) If the card is listed on eBay as 256MB, should I be rest assured that the full amount of RAM will be recognized by MorphOS?

5) Is there any significant difference between the available 9250 manufactured versions out there (ie. ASUS/HIS etc)?

No, there's no stock Radeon 9250 with Mac ROM. Best bet to use a Radeon 9250 would be to flash it with a Radeon 9200 Mac ROM.

PowerMac3,1 has AGP 1.0 (3.3 V), so you'll have to find a card keyed for 3.3 V. If the card is an AGP 3.0 (0.8 V) card with an additional AGP 1.0 key, you'll have to tape pins 3 and 11. This is not necessary with an AGP 2.0 (1.5 V) card with additional AGP 1.0 key.
