    Yooo!

For the longest time my flashed Radeon 9200 SE was not an issue and did everything quite well. Just a few days ago, after powering up the MDD, everything would come to a crawl and super slow. I figured maybe I overlooked something inside or maybe MOS installation became bad. Same issue happened once I booted into the MOS install, everything comes to a crawl after 2 minutes. I finally brought in a spare Mac 9000 Pro card in and everything is back to normal speed with no slowdowns.

I wonder if this is the same issue others are having on their G5 macs on flashed Radeons? I am not saying all radeons are in bad shape but driver issues cause it to lag out and come to a super slow computer.

    Either way, Happy Labor Day!

According to what I have heard from Frank, the problem with Radeon 9800XT cards is the same whether a flashed card or a genuine Apple card is used.
So I doubt it is an issue with the rom.

Why are you using the 9200 SE, the 9000 PRO is better.

Yeah, I have two of those (@ only $15 each they are a bargain).

R300 based cards are also pretty cheap now.

EDIT 2013/09/21 : Works well with PC flashed Radeon 9500 (128k rom) and 9800 (64k rom reduced) too !!!
