    Hey guys..

Whenever I insert a USB stick into my MDD G4, the volume name shows up, but when I click on the icon on the desktop, the wrong volume appears. I have tried two different sticks, formatted it on a Mac and under MorphOS. Same Volume appears.

Any ideas? Even going into the shell and typing the name of the USB drive will get me the wrong volume.... :-?

What file system did you format with?
Some thumb drives are hard coded for fat32.
Formatting them as NTFS might result in strange things happening.

Maybe check in a shell with the info command if it is properly mounted or collides with an already mounted volume ....

That was it. I have TWO volumes named untitled. If I change them in HD Setup will it harm the partitions? They are both HFS partitions.
