Hello folks. I put a SoundBlaster Live on my PowerMac G4 MDD. Should I download and install the driver form somewhere in order for this to be listed on AHI preferences? It is not listed right now :(. Thanks!

    Hi again =)
Did you check if that is a right emu10k SoundBlaster? MorphOS has drivers for this card yet and since you didn't find inside audio preferences makes me think that is a wrong card...

Ok it seems that the card was not put properly, I pushed it a little on the slot and now all the drivers -Emu- appear, but no matter which I select the sound comes corrupted out of my spekaers / ehadphones. The card is a CT4830 model. Any ideas?

Do you have other PCI-cards installed ?

The SBLive! is known as a rather "dirty" design, so just putting it in another slot might improve things.

Either that or you knackered it by running it half plugged in :-(

    @ CountRaven

In what way it is corrupted? It may be AHI configuration issue.

Moved it on another slot and now it works, which driver is the best to use? The plain Emu, the Hifi or the 7.1 one?

There's just one driver which provides various modes. If you have the appropriate audio equipment you can use 7.1 mode, else I recommend HiFi mode.
