    Hi guys,
i need your help this time: MakeCD suddently stopped to copy CDs on my PegII (to be sincere I',m not sure to have ever COPIED CDs by when I have PegII). Everytime I try to copy Cds from my DVD-Rom to the CD-RW I get this message: Cmd MODE SENSE 6 =>Illegal Request:Illegal Field in Command Descriptor. It is relative to the source drive.

Moreover I often have IDE lock-ups while makeing backup from HD to CD. How do you solved this? Did you set particluar values for buffers or similar?
    Thanks a lot.

    P.S. I have MakeCD version 3.2d public beta10 and makecdroms.module 45.10.
I have HD (master) and DVD-Rom (Slave) on the first IDE channle and CD-RW (master) and CD-Rom (Slave) on the second IDE channel. I get the same error message also if I put the source CD in the CD-Rom on the same IDE channel of the CD-RW.

PegasosII "Elite" Machine --> PowerMac MDD "popular" Machine --> MacMini 1.5 "still more popular" Machine

    Hi Mikey060,

This error occured with me when:

    - The MakeCD setting for that drive was wrong
    - A damaged disc
    - The drive was simply unable to read the disc correctly

Try changing the setting for that drive (Toshiba worked nice). Change the reading speed, etc.

    Good luck,

    Spidey
