This is a quick port of STV:EF multiplayer dubbed Holomatch I did back in May. It's based on efport which is a recreation of the STV:EF multiplayer using the ioquake3 engine. No singleplayer here, since that is heavily modified from vanilla id tech 3, and Raven only released a portion of the source for the modders. Anyway, the multiplayer is fully playable, it has some PPC optimizations thanks to the ioquake3 team, even some altivec code in the rendering and sound mixing. It is available on my website, feedback is welcome. Don't forget to patch the game to the latest version (1.2). You can do this by installing the Expansion Pack too.

The game crashes hard when it cannot find game files. BTW can they be legally downloaded from somewhere, or they are still commercial? Also I must say that with only multiplayer mode, playability of the game is limited nowadays.

To be honest, I haven't really tried to run the game without without the game data, but I'll try it later. The game is still commercial, I wouldn't expect Paramount giving up the rights on anything Star Trek related :P There are still some active servers, and if nothing else, the game can be used for benchmarking purposes :)
The single player part could be theoretically recreated too, using the recently released Jedi Outcast sources, but those aren't really stable yet, for example the save game system crashes on anything else than x86 Windows/Linux.
