I would like to print to a Windows printer shared with samba.

Samba is installed on peggy, I can see the printer doing a "SMBclient -L hostname" or with TANGO, but I dont know who to use this share with turboprint.

    An idea? :-?

As far as I know, you DON'T use Windows printers under AmigaOS or MorphOS. There isn't really any great support for it.

What you'd have to do is print to a file (easy enough) and then somehow transfer that to the Windows box using smbclient (I think that's possible) or another tool.

I think that method is explained here in this old magazine:

    http://www.btinternet.com/~clubbed/seal/totalamiga/backissues.html

(but they don't have issue 8 available for download? how odd.. you can buy it from http://www.totalamiga.org though, which is the same site really)

Someone on MorphZone had a question like this before ("printing on 1.4"?) so maybe you should check the archives too.
