it's frustrating that there are a lot of issues regarding morphos system as a whole including 3rd party software. a lot of stuff isnt working properly.

When i play Napalm, theres the screen flickering
When i play Warzone, all i get is corrupt gfx
    Shogo doesnt work at all
WipeOut neither, freezes randomly (wazp3d is anything but finished)
OWB is leaking memory (i know its webkits fault, but in OS X you still wont have your whole memory filled)
then theres of course the huge PowerBook issue with the screen stuck, when changing between screens. happens often at boot up.

and a lot more which i dont remember right now. well, nevertheless all the stuff that is working 100% is just perfect. I hope some day the nasty issues will be fixed somehow.

Well.. Napalm has always been problematic because it isn't fully independent from Amiga's custom chips. It's the case with many legacy programs and quite undestandable, because MorphOS doesn't offer full hardware emulation.

Many those old Amiga PPC/3D games require Warp3D, which is only supported on pre 9550 Radeons. For example Wipeout does work fine on older Radeons, as does Warzone (maybe it's using Warp3D too?).

I just tried that Warzone works on Mac mini (Radeon 9200), but gfx doen't seem to work on Powerbook (Radeon 9700).

Erm, what? I haven't heard about that and my PowerBook certainly haven't done that ever. Have you checked the debug log if there is some other program hitting and messing with the memory?

    Warzone 2100 uses TinyGL.

its a known bug on the 5,8 models at least. It looks like the screen is burning. The last thing that i heard about that is, that the devs dont know how to fix it.

Hmm.. do you mean that display gets distorted, like lines flickering constantly? That happens occasionally with my 5,9 too, but it's not stuck, you just don't see the things that well. You still can do things and see there's movement etc. It can go off if you swap screens couple times.

I noticed that you can get rid of it always by cycling the screen off and on with DPMS. It seems to reset the display. Check your "IControl/Hotkeys/Blanker: DPMS Power Off" keyboard combination and then it's easy and quick to do from the keyboard. I have it on ctrl-lalt-d combination, but I don't remember if it was the default or not.
