So I decided to play around with MESS. Having read through some of the docs it appears that I need a few BIOS files for the systems. No big deal, I got that covered.

The strange thing is though that the program does not run.

I installed the Ultimate Pack 3 which I assumed installed all the dependencies required for MESS, but when I try to launch it, Snoopium throws out a plethora of errors. Missing libs and more.

I suppose I should bring the log file and post it here, but in the mean time...

Can any of you out there get MESS running with MorphOS 3.1?

Your first mistake was assuming that the Ultimate Pack 3 installs all dependencies for all of the other software that is included with it.

I think there is more than one program that the Ultimate Pack installs, without installing all of the dependent files or libraries needed to run that program.

Try Grunch to fix dependencies for any of your programs. It is really great at handling that kind of thing.

Weird.... I just ran Snoopium to see what all libs I was lacking and what not.

NlistView was one mentioned, and guess what? IT IS INSTALLED!

I'm thinking I'm just going to boycott Mess all together. This is annoying.
