Can anyone save their games under the latest ScummVM?

Every game I've tried to save on refuses to save.

Just tested with Beneath a steel sky and Broken Sword 2. It works just fine.

Those are two titles I happen to have not tested yet.

    I've tested:

    Indy Atlantis
    Feeble Files
    Space Quest 1 VGA
    Space Quest 4
    Ring world
Disc world (sound is screwed up too)
    7th guest...

    Too many to list.

Where do the save games store? Might mine somehow be write protected?

Shouldn't matter which game you run anyway, it's the same for all (unless you redefined the paths for specific games).
The default savegame path is PROGDIR: (scummvm directory).

Also tested with feeble files. Worked as well.

Anyway, if it doesn't work for you, just set again the save game path by going in scummvm options -> paths.

That did it, at least for the game saves....

I had to define a save directory, there was none.

On the other hand, I always get this error when I start ScummVM:

WARNING: SDL mixer output buffer size: 1102 differs from desired: 2048!

    ---

Ironically, everything seems fine with the sound, though I can say that DiscWorld's sound is VERy scratchy when it should not be, and I do not get any dialog when playing Zak McCrackin, plus I get this message:

User picked target 'zak-fm' (gameid 'zak')...
Looking for a plugin supporting this gameid... SCUMM [all games]
Starting 'Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders'
WARNING: Couldn't open drive: Invalid CD-ROM drive index!
