After some testing (thanks to Piru) Zanband 2.7.2 works on Pegasos.
With default configs it does not display game area at all. Editing
zangband272/user/settings.prf like shown here it'll work ok. I do hope
when someone makes port of 2.7.3 (latest) they take consideration to
retargettable gfx users (currently it defaults to aga gfx).
Original (and source!) can be downloaded from www.zangband.org

(note .. only beginning of conf file shown.. rest can be left as is,
unless you want to change font etc..)
