It seems at least one of MorphOS Quake ports (fuhquake) can use high-res textures from quake retexturing project. From what I read I just have to download the texture pack, unpack it and copy to fuhquake/textures, but that doesn't work. Strangely, files from quake remodelling project copied to fuhquake/textures/bmodels work well. What do I do wrong?

Try to download the textures pack from the first link you posted:
    quake retexture project
I download the 192 mb file, double clicked on it and placed the whole 'texture' directory in ID1 and that's worked.
Some textures won't work, due to similar name for different textures (!!) or for not been implemented.

It so does not! How come? That doesn't work for me at all! I've tried it in the first place!

OK, I'll go through all this again (I'll start with downloading the whole pack again).

EDIT: Well, here is what I know so far:

MorphOS Fuhquake port doesn't support the so-called "NormalMaps". If you want to enjoy the enhanced look you have to use the "qrp-maptextures-2007-10-06r2-7files.zip". And yes, some textures are missing, or not supported ATM. I'll try to figure it out.
