There's a port of Dungeon Master / Chaos Strikes Back under Windows, MacOS X and Linux with sources.

Maybe there's a chance to port this game under MorphOS?

This looks good, but it might be difficult to find someone to port it because everyone is busy with their own projects right now. ;-)

There's no hurry, project will not escape ;)
I'm just post info about this. If someone will find some time to look, that's enough for now.

I've tested it on my PC, it works fine and Stable ! ;) (except I have to find the key to go backward...)

Emulate Dungeon Master and Chaos strike back is not a good idea since original game is quite unstable on Amiga and Atari ST ! :)

This game was one of my favorite ! ;) I'll try to compile it, but it's not that easy.
A complete dev package with recent autoconf, automake, perl, etc is needed just to create the configure file...

I tried archive from Qmaster, but some tools need up to date other tools :)
I will try to compile them, but I have few hope.

I think i will have to create make files by my self :(

don't expect me to compile Chaos Strikes Back too soon, but i'll try...

    Velcro_SP:

Like you click on a file with the extension ADF

ADF? ADF is disk emulation, maybe good for one disk arcade games. But even Dungeon Master which is on one disk need save game disk. So, you must change disk to save.

Better idea are WHDLoad games ;)

Sadly, there's a bug with direct dir support with WHDLoad under E-UAE.

I mean what are you going to do? Reengineer every beloved old Amiga game?

Who told you that i want all games "reenginered"? First of all, this is no simple reengineering, because engine supports all data based on engine of first DMs (DM & CSB with all custom levels). Second, Dungeon Master is not "another platform game" which you should count in hundreds. DM is an unique serie of games, which is more complex than normally you can realize. Check this yourself ;)

I was always suspecting that there are some hidden statistics (e.g. luck factor)... but 19 skills (where 4 are visible, and 15 are hidden) was shock even for me. ;)
