hi guys is there a way to play the cd version (pc) of monkey island 3 with scummvm????

I just gave Monkey3 a try and it runs quite
well, but seems to have a few problems still.
It stopped and went to a debug console after
playing for a bit. To play it from CD use these
options on commandline: "datapath cd0: comi"
(I use an iconx script to launch)

i have it workong now but when i save or try to load scummvm crashed is this a bug of scummvm???

Just tried Monkey 3, french CD version, with the lastest ScummVM... It works but... It's awfully slow. (videos are at about 1 FPS, and during the game, the mouse pointer is very slow too)...

Is it normal ?

I remember the PC engine worked very fast on a cyrix 166+ machine :) - I mean the original game :)

oh, with the tooltype SCALER=none it's much more playable actually. Videos are still a bit slow but it's OK.

I was able to play Curse completely to the end!
(I played it completely from HD...)
Sometimes it crashed, so save-game would be
needful :)
There's is an update of the latest ScummVM,
which shouldn't have save-load errors....

the problem you described sounds like a well known bug of older scummvm version!
