    Is there any? I tried:

    FCEU_mos -> wrong colors, slow
Ljng_mos -> not working, bad gui too
nofrendo_mos -> working, seems fine BUT speed is always ultra-fast, automatic frameskip/speed does nothing...
    is there an alternative? :-?

I join in this question :)
Mac mini G4@1,5GHz silent upgrade + Xerox Phaser 3140 + EPSON Perfection 1240U
    Commodore C64C + 2 x 1541II + Datasette + SD-Box

I miss draggable screens... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

a http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/ mos port would probably be the best choice

All old NES emulators for Amiga do not work properly on MOS. I have tried them out. Each one has at least few annoying "features" that make it unusable for every day use.

    For alternatives try:

    http://members.shaw.ca/realstar/

    There are Mastersystem, Genesis and
    Turbografx emulators for Morphos.

Also there is Snes9x and MAME for Morphos.

AFAIR Snes9x don't emulates NES system. Am I right?

MAME can run some NES games, that were used in arcade cabinets.

don't know if you can convert any nes rom dump to MAME format easily (probably not), but you can probably find some of the most popular NES games for MAME aswell, right now, without waiting for someone to port some NES emulator :-)

Of course a dedicated NES port would be better.

That would be not so easy. Better to say not easy at all.

    Maybe FCEU?

"FCEU emulates the classic Nintendo Entertainment System/NES/Famicom game console. FCEU currently has great compatibility, sound support, save ram and save state support."

    http://members.shaw.ca/realstar/fceu/fceuindex.html

    Btw, thanx Emerald :)

Something related too, but not dedicated to NES: i recently ported MESS which supports NES (and also dozens of other consoles/computers):

Hmmm, seems it emulates the N64 as well; did you try it out? Would be very nice to have a working N64 emu on MOS. Thanx for the port :-)

    Stevo,

I haven't tested yet, but for some machines the status is uncomplete/not working. And for a N64, i wouldn't have too high expectations speed-wise, especially for something based on MAME. :)

Currently FCEU is only one good NES/FDS emulator available for MorphOS users. Other ones are too slow and/or too messy. It works fine with almost all games i tested. Moreover, FDS is now working fine, which was not really supported in older versions.
