Today I installed Freespace... I have 2 probs

1. it says it cannot create my profile on the HD, I have read some older posts, and made the "players" drawer writeable... I even deleted the old one and made a new, still no go...

2. Ignoring the above error, I am presented to the main screen... I select the briefing room, and the game freezes. The music keeps playing in the background, the mouse moves but nothing else. it just stayes there forever...

any help?

nevermind, I found the native mos version , it works perfect with the hyperion data.. no movies though

Well, Freespace is working here, but i have some problems.

First, when i run game, i have error mesage:

Warning: (src/parse/parselo.cpp:1479): Unable to find WEAPON_LIST_TYPE string "EMP" in stuff_int_list
Many possible sources for this error. Get a programmer!

Game is working, but message is very suspicous. Maybe because this error i have problem with...

Second, I can't finish one mission, where you must destroy 2 transporters and 4 freighters. After destroying them, and all enemy fighters, i haven't "mission complete..." message or new mission objectives. I was waiting 30 minutes and nothing happens. I don't know what's going on. Is there anybody who can test my saves?

Solo_Kazuki : I have tried the MOS version of Freespace a long time ago and I remenber the same problem (I can't finished a mission).
