to obtain the game data, you have to buy the PC release of this game... like with other 'big' ports...

I had a look around eBay, and just became the owner of Hexen 2 and it's mission pack ... It's bidding and takes a bit of time, but there's many copies on the different eBay sites.

Don't forget to check eBay.com as well as eBay.de and eBay.co.uk, they have different content of course.

I won a bid on eBay, and now an the proud owner of the original Hexen II, as well as the mission pack 'Portal of Prævus'.

Hexen II data itself works like a dream (after running the Update program supplied with the exe), but I don't know how to get the mission pack going. Checking the 'Update' script seems to indicate that some kind of patch file is required for the pak files of the game, and there is none for the mission pack.

Any ideas, anyone (I have also sent this question to the guy who made the exe port)?
