    Hi,

I use TurboPrint 7.60 under mos 1.4.2 and some programs can print now.
But I have trouble with color mode.
Blue is replacer by pink and green by yelow.
RED is good, yelow is good etc.
    any idea ?

I tryed the same printer, the same turboprint under OS3.9 and A1200
    and the colors are good.

    Printer : canon i865

It seems there are problems with color printing for the moment.

Also, see this older topic for few other thoughts about it!

    Hi serge,

These are the wellknown symptoms we have from the beginning :-(

But not long ago I managed to get GraphicPublisher working (version 7.05).
In the past I tried GraphicPublisher too, but I got the inverted colors you're mentioning.

For GraphicPublisher to get working correctly I first deleted the MOS TP printer settings.
And then I ran the TP V7.05 settings.

Since then I don't have problems with inverted colors! :-D

    Bye,

    Spidey

I've allways thought the version of turbo print included in MOS was rushed and poorly done. Its never worked correctly. Some people get lucky with some printers, some are totaly out of luck. The only way I have been able to print is through MorphED and even then its not 100% of the time. I think we need a complete rework of the printer manager functions in MorphOS. I hope this is one of the things thats included with version 1.5 when its released, and also why is taken so long to come.

    Hi serge,

I'm sorry, wasn't clear about what to delete :-)

Just go to Settings->System Settings and then choose Printer
In here just remove your chosen printer.

After this reboot your computer and then start the prefs of the newly installed TurboPrint and choose your settings like you were used to doing so with your Amiga :-)

Funnily enough these settings will also be shown in MOS printer settings (in where you deleted the printer settings)! :-)

    Good luck,

    Spidey

ps: don't put to turbostart icon in your WBStartup. With me it didn't work. Just start it manually after booting into MOS.

If you buy the latest version of Turbo Print and install it, will it work over the included MOS version? Also how do you install it? Doesnt it come as a DD amiga formated disk?

    Hello guys,

@Acill and others, have a look to the Tutorials -> Doctor's Office -> Doctor Morbius -> TurboPrint 7.60. He explains how to install and set up TurboPrint 7.60 on Morphos 1.4.2.

    Hi Acill,

Just DMS the disks and mount a FMS disk device and unpack the DMS file into it and you can install it :-)

About the latest version: version 7.60 works as doctor Morbius showed us in his Tutorial-section.

    Bye Spidey

    Hi Brumiga,

Yes I know of the article of doctor Morbius :-)
And it is a very good one.

But if you're in a hurry, then you could try the suggestion I wrote here :-)

Why can't you copy and paste with IBrowse?
I know it doesn't work in the editting window with the usual rAmiga+C and rAmiga+V, but you still can copy and paste http:-adresses and other texts outside the editting window :-)

    Bye,

    Spidey

I'll take a look at the install guide and see how it looks. I may just get it and give it a try.

Sorry guys, in the last three weeks I was offline for summer vacancies. So I was unaware of this thread until today, and was not able to participate actively in real time to the discussion.

Anyway, thank you for your appreciation. I'm always glad to see that there are some persons who consider useful my articles.
