Before I sold my A3000 I converted most of my stuff I had on floppy disk over to ADF. If I load up UAE on the Pegasos and install an app from one of them ADF files can I take the files and move them to a dir on my Pegasos?

Now my question is how to I make it so I can get a dir and use it as a hard drive like WinUAE does so I can install WB3.1 to it? If any of you know a better or simpler way let me know please. I want Final writer 7 installed on my Pegasos and I only have it on original floppy and in ADF.

You can try to use FMSDisk.device, and ADF2FMS tools available on Aminet. These will provide you virtual floppy drives, where you can write ADF images just like you did with the real thing. Another choice is DiskImage, also available on Aminet, you can use that to mount ADF images directly. I'm not sure that these will work on MorphOS, but i think they should.

As a last resort, you can use UAE as you described, since AFAIR MOS-UAE also support shared directories as hardfiles.

I've tried FMSdisk.device, and yes, it works on MorphOS.

You can do this with UAE 0.8.23 (68k executable), that you can find in the archive uae-0.8.23-20040125-amiga.lha at the web site http://rcdrummond.net/uae/.

This version has no sound, no ARexx, no GUI interface, no Picasso96 support, and is slow on the Pegasos. On the other hand you can use a directory of your hard disk as it was a hard disk of the emulated Amiga (just what you want), and you also have hardfile support. I started AmigaOS 1.3 from a dir on my hard disk, and I also started AmigaOS 3.9 from my WinUAE Workbench hardfile, although it is TERRIBLY slow and uses AGA graphics at most.

I can send you some configuration files if you need them.

I re-packed this 68k UAE Version and included everything you should need except the kickrom of course. Try it.

    Hi DJBase,

could you repeat the great job you did with 0.8.22 on 0.8.23? Having the best of both versions in an executable compiled for the Pegasos would be very interesting...

    (Maybe I ask too much)

    Thanks DJBase.

Now the question is: who compiled UAE 0.8.22 for MorphOS?

He could repeat the job for 0.8.23 or else 0.8.25...
