    Hi guys,

I've decided to try the new Fallout CE port from BeWorld.
I used the data from GOG.com - it seems to work OK.
But... I've stumbled upon some issues.
Firstly - the inventory window is all gray (except from the items, although if I scroll them down their graphics become garbled).
But I could live with it. However I got a reproductible crash when I try to read the Scout Handbook. The game freezes, the system cursor appears and thats it.

Here's my save if you'd like to give it a try. Just load it, enter inventory and try to read the book.

Please give me some feedback if you experience the same issues.

OK, one of my friends tested the game on his PowerBook G4 and vanilla GOG.com version and the game runs just fine on his computer (despite general slowliness). The inventory is displayed OK, and you can use the items inside.

Now I need to check what's causing these problems on my setup.

    Well, what do you know?
It seems that Polish language add-on is to be blamed.
When I switched the data to genuine English version the "inventory bug" is gone.

And what's even stranger - the same PL patch works OK with Windows version of Fallout CE, so it seems that "our" port is somewhat broken in that regard.

I will check the "official" Polish CD version - hopefuly later today.

OK, here's what I've found so far:
I got an official Polish retail version CD from a friend and I've acquired all the needed data from it. Then I decided to copy them over my old installation but it did not help, the inventory bug was there.
Then I tried deleting the "data" folder and copying the data again, this time only the files provided by CD Projekt. And voila, it worked!

I'm testing it right now and everything seems to be OK.
Now I just have to find that pesky file (files?) that has caused me so much trouble...
