    Browsing somewhere I found this:
    Brutal DOOM

    O_o

I saw the official trailer and I had a chill in my back =)
Well, I have a question: is it possible a port of GZDoom or Zandronum due to frag... ehm enjoy this mod?
    Both Doom ports have sources:

I have an unfinished ZDoom port, which could be used as a base for both. The biggest problem here is FMOD, which is used for the sound. There is a fork that uses OpenAL, but it's kind of buggy, and doesn't have any music whatsoever, unless you are on linux and have the GStreamer framework at your disposal.

If the GZDoom codebase is close enough to ZDoom, I'll try to get it running.

I did a port, but apparently too many features are missing from TinyGL, and the graphics are broken.

Any other engine that can handle Brutal Doom?

Zandronum is also compatible, because it uses the GL renderer from GZDoom. It retains the software renderer from ZDoom too, but that won't work with Brutal Doom.

Another level of the Starter Pack was finished today. Now I just need to finish two more levels, and squish the final bugs of v20b before releasing it. At this rate, I can say that mid October is a very possible release date for both v20b and the Starter Pack.

Reviving the thread in the hopes to play this game under MorphOS.

What features are missing so I can bug the Team to add them? :-)

Kiero already got my wishlist(s) when I was doing the GZDoom port, so I guess we'll see when 3.10 comes out. Perhaps the SDK has some clues too.

I hope this will happen :-) There is a "starters pack" with some new levels adapted for this mod. They are excellent!

Judging by the SDK, none of the missing features made it into 3.10. Maybe some of the bugfixes will.
