From what I gathered from the thread that port is way out of date, can not connect to current servers, and was never released.
So currently that port does nothing for us. The point of a bounty would be to get us a port of a current version that we could actually use. If the author of the unreleased, outdated port would want to take up the bounty to update his work, great! If someone else would want to do it to collect the bounty, great as well!
