    Nice. Anyone had any luck with getting the GOG version working?

    It looks like that Enhanced Edition of BG2 isn't working with GemRB. Couldn't find the url back pointing that sadly.

    GOG used to sell Baldur's Gate series I & II as complete series (including expansions for each version of the game I mean). I am sure that Twiggy refers to those versions, not the Enhanced Editions which are not supported by GemRB globally (on all supported platforms). Googling "Baldur’s Gate: The Original Saga" and "Baldur’s Gate 2 Complete" will reveal sources that still distribute them..

    That's correct. The original games in GOG form.

    However, I've got the original CDs on the way to give them a try.

    Happy to inform that using latest beta I got BG2-SOA, BG2-Throne of Bhaal and Plane Scape Torment to work. PST got graphical glitches on 800x600 but when I changed the config at 640x480 all is good, could be my setup/system though :)

    Onto BG1, IW1 and IW2 now, will report next days.

    More tests:

    1) Baldur's Gate works on 640x480 correctly (on 800x600 same graphical glitches of the HUD like PST) but it's fine.

    2) IWD Complete GOG version (includes the expansion) crashes on character creation, upon "Appearance" section.

    Tracing back the crash log states:

    [Python/ERROR]: Traceback (most recent call last):
    [Python/ERROR]: File "Multimedia:Unnamed/GemRB/GUIScripts/iwd/CharGen.py", line 2321, in AppearancePress
    [Python/ERROR]: DrawAvatar()
    [Python/ERROR]: File "Multimedia:Unnamed/GemRB/GUIScripts/iwd/CharGen.py", line 2373, in DrawAvatar
    [Python/ERROR]: AvatarID = AvatarID + table.GetValue (lookup, "CLASS")
    [Python/ERROR]: TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'int' and 'str'

    3) IWD2 Complete GOG version works correctly and on 800x600.

    So, based on the above only IWD seems to get me into trouble, can anybody double check and verify it?

    @Cool_amigaN

    So much stuff to upgrade... Anyways, be aware that IWD2 would fail in future because still can't be completed as GemRB developers say.
