As far as I read it there will be a classic version of the game in the future. Maybe a good topic
    for a YASU Blog?

No doubt :-) But I think it needs a little more flesh on it's bones. Right now it's more a novelty rather than a finished game.

But the guy is really active so I guess it will happen sooner than later :-)

I{m trying to play the game in full screen, but all I'm getting is a small window in the upper left corner of the screen with a distorted picture colors. The windowed mode works fine.

Can any one please share his SDL Prefs settings to make it work well in full screen? I running MOS 3.9 in a silent upgrade Mac Mini 1 GB RAM,

Forgot to mention that the game now launches in a small screen up on the left corner (about 6 x 5 inch) and the rest of the sreen is all grey.
    > this was your post from "birdie shoot" topic<

so it seems to be a harware issue here.

Have you tried to exchange the Monitor and/or the VGA/DVI cable?

The developer of Amiga Racer wants to know what OS is mostly used
    to play Amiga Racer.

It should be MorphOS - what do you think:

Not that surprisingly AOS 4 seems to be winning. They are generally better at being where development takes place and give praise.

Or it could be that there are more OS4 systems.

A survey on facebook can't be a representative sample. Me and many other computer scientist avoid
    facebook/whatsapp etc.

Count +1 for MorphOs on my side.

Yeah, Johannes, that's what I count too. I think though there might be less MorphOS users, we tend to play games more.

    @Cool_amigaN

I imagine the AOS 4 users to be on every new game/program like syrup. It has come to my attention that that crowd is a lot better at showing their appriciation. This is something we MorphOS users should do a better job at.

I had a 'test-drive ' of Amiga Racer, and though the demo played OK for me, it's not the main or my favourite use I turn on my computer systems for.

We have loads of games to play, and many of them really quite good, i.e. Star Wars x 2, Arx Libertatis, Quake in its many formats, and loads of others, and let's not forget SCUMMVM. I like to support software provided either commercially or via donation, but I'd much rather see useable applications, like an up-to-date Office package for MorphOS than games software.

Though I'd love to see Mass Effect 2 converted to MorphOS, if only the source code was available, and our current hardware could cope with the heavy use of GFX hardware/memory and RAM, which may not be do-able with our currently supported PPC hardware.:-?

As Cool_amigaN also said ... some of us do, and it seems to run really well. 8-D

Ahh, Oohh, you mean to say you have not got it Andreas .... well ...

You just need to contact BSzili for the executable, and get the data files from the original CD, and off you go adventuring, etc..
