I just wanna ask if anyone is going (or already working) on a MorphOS port!?
Doubt it.

If you don´t know what warsow is: www.warsow.net
Well, it at least seems to have a lot of Quakeworld's physics and movement.

It´s a standalone Egoshooter based on Qfusion engine (modified QuakeII engine)!
Eek, Quake 2... Guess it's quite ugly, then (the code).

It´s a great game that is played at e-sports scene!
Have you ever tried Quakeworld? :)

The Linux port of it is using SDL (I think).
I know what is implied by this sentence, but may I once again remind people that the part that SDL covers (and doesn't cover too well) is the smallest part of porting such a thing. If you're wasting time actually porting a game, you might as well invest those few hours more and get it done right.

This game could make the MorphOS Platform a little bit mor attractive for gamers and others, too!
How about Quakeworld? :)

I think if it were ported it would run well (if you don´t use the bloom effect), because it´s based on QuakeII engine and QuakeII works on MorphOS!
OK, that's the strangest logic I've seen on here in a little while :)
Have you ever seen Dark Places Quake? It's based on Quake 1, and Quake 1 runs on MorphOS... Yet Dark Places doesn't exactly boast a high FPS count on MorphOS :)
Quote:
Are here programmers who can try to port it?
Dunno.

A reason for this thread: I don´t like Windows, but I wanna play my alltime favourite game! I think I´m not the only person here who would like to see a port, or am I!?
Play Quakeworld? :)
