    Hey guys,

I got around to installing heretic II and all goes well. so then the settings screen pops up and I select start game and the game begins to load and then turns to a black screen! So if I push the escape key it takes me back to the heretic II loading screen and then plays fine.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

No sounds? If I remember well, there are two video intros showingsome logos (epic and so on..) in a low resolution.
Maybe those aren't supported or not played for any reason, letting you skip with esc key and come back to loading screen.
I'm not able to test because I'm not able to find my heretic cds... in my room caos =)

    No, it shouldn't.
Are you playing in full screen mode? If so, try to play it in window mode choosing a resolution that could work well for your configuration.
F.e: I used to play 1024x768 in a 1680x1050 Ambient screen. If your MacMini graphic memory is low or not (with Pegasos I'm using a 128 m ati radeon) exclude "enhanced display", since Tiny GL needs memory.
Or, using a full screen mode, reduce screenmode (but I guess you just tried this) always excludin enhanced display.
I found my cds but I will try tomorrow morning.

Yeah playing in full screen, the game wont go into any form of window mode. tryed using rtgmaster 68k which works fullscreen but not in window mode, rtgmaster mos results in not alot happing (no game). and not using rtgmaster results in full screen and no windows mode.

I tryed reducing the window size and screenmode and predefined afew new screens and got the videos to work on 320x240 . but still has this little stutter/judder now and again. Its alot better on triple buffer but still happens so guessing it might be the slow mac mini hdd.
