    Hello there

I know this must be an old topic here, but I just couldn't find any reliable and well organized info.

I would like to ask about Amiga games (I mean, OCS/AGA games) that were able to work with a graphics card on Picasso96 modes, for example, and whether those games run on MOS or not.

For example, I remember seeing AMBERMOON work or at least BOOT on an A1200 with graphics card, but with some strange colors. It booted anyway, in a VESA mode and an VGA monitor, and at least displayed the tittle screen.
As MOS supports PAULA (with the correct KICKSTART file), it should dothe same on MOS.
I know most oldschool games were chipset-banging bastards, but some of them seem to be partially os-compliant...am I wrong?

What do you know about souch games? What are the candidates to try?

    thanks!!

As long as it doesnt hit any specal chips it will work, but if it does then your out of luck. For those you can run UAE, and its fast enough to run them at full speed if your not on an Efika. Actually I hear they dont run bad on an Efika, but I cant tell you first hand.

There is no hardware paula emulation nor any kind of kickstart file support in MorphOS. Games that touch classic hardwares custom chips will simply fail.

There might be some nallepuh clone for MorphOS, but its not official supported.

Some of them are for sure working on graphic card and using AHI. Most of those games required a graphic card in the past, too. Games that run on a plain A500/A1200 as well as on graphics card are quite rare.

I just can point on BoulderD?sh ( http://www.geit.de/eng_boulderdaesh.html ), which works on a standard A500 as well as on any MorphOS machine.
