did anyone here tried in last days to upload some xmoto highscores? as it simply says, that my password is wrong (and it is not) and so my results aren't updated anymore on the xmoto website.

anyway, hope the problem is temporarily, so don't hesitate and join as in the MorphOS Cup.

I haven't investigated the issue nor could i even verify it, since i was unable to make a hiscore again. :)

But anyway, it's either an issue on xmoto servers or a change in their protocol/result format (which would mean 0.5 is incompatible to 0.4). When i've some time, i'll port 0.5 version (I already did port a 0.5 svn version a few months ago, so it shouldn't be a big issue).

I had the same (almost) problem in late 2008. Xmoto has been sending highscores to nil: w/o any requesters about wrong password etc. I simply logged as the player (on the xmoto main page) and set my password to the same pw i have in private room. That was a cure for this problem. Note that there are two types of accounts - player and private-room one. Pretty stupid IMHO. Anyway they changed something now, and it seems that you need to have an player account (remember that annoying reminder about it?).

Just did one new highscore and xmoto shows "uploading" all the time, so it doesn't work :).

so can we expect the 0.5 version sometimes soon? will it be possible to upload all those scores, that aren't correctly uploaded? or should i make them again? :)

I'll try to find some time for it soonish, but i'm doing something else and it's quite big.

About compatibility, i don't know yet. I really hope they didn't break it. It's hard enough to make records once. :)

please find the time... You know... whole MorphOS cup is now... delayed... :)
