thanks to an user on the Amigift ML:

disable "FIOASYNC" in "Preferences>giFTMui>sockopts/modes" even if you are using MiamiDX. (that is/should be disabled anyway by default)

yeah is truth..whne disable this option AmiGIft works OK..no serach/stop problem
