Well I recently bought Quake for my Amiga, but I have some problems running under MorphOS. May anyone help me how to start playing? Thanks... :-D

Which Quake version did you buy?
    What are your problems?

Clickboom's Amiga version doesn't seem to work on MorphOS (too bad - wanted to do some speed tests)

BUT there are also many MOS native ports available, you'll obviously also need the data files (which you can find on Quake CD, and if you installed it, you probably already have them on your HD)

yeah man, i have the same experience. but as people wrote here, the QuakeMOS port exists and works fine. get it from morphos-news.de , directory game/shoot. it contains quakemos executable. put it into your quake directory, click it and there you go!!! Original installer from the CD works w/o problems under MorphOS so i presume you already have your Quake installed... have fun with it and write if u succeeded running the game...

btw: AlienBreed 3d2 works great under MOS and is much athmospherical than Quake or Doom or Duke3D

Yes, iirc, there is somewhere on aminet a file like tkgrtg.lha or so and it really works, but unfortunately, when i tried it, there were some troubles with graphics, like the game is incomplete or so. It's pretty fast and smooth, but when talking about gfx... it's really obsolete game :( would be great, if someone would write the same game for warp3d or sth... on amiga it was really greatest 3d game :)

    bye, MarK.

this is link to the rtg patch for AB3D2 which allows the game to run under MorphOS. On my Peg2 it runs perfect and stable, but i only played first two levels
