I have a rookie question about the installation of Aliens vs Predator Classic using the Steam download. I am totally new to Steam so I have never used a game downloaded from there to install any games in Morphos.

So how do I use the data. I found the folder containing all the data files? I downloaded the game in my PC.

On a related game question: where do I find the download link for Wipeout 2097?

    Thanks.

Wipeout 2097 is a commercial game, and isn't legally downloadable.

    From the Readme file:

    "Installation:
    -------------
Just run the game and let the installer do the work. It will ask for the location of the original data files and copy them to the correct location. Alternatively, you can simply just copy the original game files into the main drawer yourself before starting the game.
    "

    Doesn't this work?

Wipeout 2097 has no MorphOS port, especially not a freely downloadable one. There is a commercial port to classic amigas with PPC accelerators, which is playable on MorphOS too.
This is just like television, only you can see much further.

And maybe you'll need this patch to make it work?

    Pegasos II G4 (not working)
    Powerbook G4 1.0 15"

I think you meant "Works on MorphOS systems with Warp3D compatible gfx card"

(One of about five games, so not high priority to fix)

Its not like there is MorphOS executable and PC data files.

Its Amiga version of Wipeout 2097 that runs on MorphOS.

So no steam/Amazon PC purchases will help.

This kind of CD will do.
