    Hi there!

I have my morphOS machine connected to the internet using DHCP, but is there any way to show what ip address the machine has got?

On os4 i had a shownetstatus-command.. is there something similar on MorphOS?

    best regards
    Torgeir

You can use ifconfig from a shell.

There are many ways, for example:
    - "IfConfig" command from the shell
    - SYS:Tools/NetStat from the icon and then look the Interfaces tab
    - "SYS:Tools/NetStat -F" command from the shell
    - My scripts which parse the output from the previous commands to cleaner form: http://jpv.wmhost.com/jpv_software/ShowIPAddress-scripts.lha

OT, thanks jPV, through your script I learned that the ECHO command can output a substring! Very cool!
