Are you complaining about debug output of a non public beta version or about the lack of Stefan to remove debug output from MUI apps he has no control of?

    Both make no sense.

    Hi to all!
It's my first post here, but I follow you since some months.

The new "framed groups" color settings
(MUI Prefs -> Group -> Framed Groups -> Color)
don't works here with this MUI beta (10-6-2007)

and the gauge.mui seems to be visibly slower..

Well, you are using a beta version. Live with debug output or install latest public version. I can't really understand what you are complaining about.

if you "can't understand" its your fault, not mine.

I think debug output is an intentional "side effect" of it being a beta. Presumably for more precise and detailed feedback purposes.

The debug output is there to point out bugs in applications or MUI classes. For example the layout debug above comes from NList bugs.

As far as I remember this kind of debug is not conditional. Better whine to people really resposible for it - that is, the autors of apps/classes.

effetively that debug output, affects only apps using NList (no prob with IBrowse and Sputnik f.e).

I've tryed everything to avoid the huge slowsdown under MOS for PowerUP (above all using YAMdev) but the only solution was to stick this line in User-Startup:

    run >NIL: sashimi

No way to redirect that debug in ramdebug. (at least i didn't find any)

yes, "muidebug" switch is working, and you can enable more debug with it.

Well, if you don't know what beta versions are, don't use them and quit whining.
