Does anyone know where I can download the current alpha of MUI4? (assuming of course that it's available to non-beta testers!)

I'd also like to know if anyone has compiled a recent version of Ambient without debug.

    Thanks,

    -Ken

Yes, it would be good to know what is the latest version? Also, it would be great if Stuntzi would post here for a status update...

Is this the most recent public version? Is there any way to see the files on his site, or do you have to just know what they are and type it in directly?

I just installed this latest version and now so far Voyager will not work. I Use Aweb anyway, but Voyager is asking for at least version 1.18 of muimaster.library and to install mui 3.7, whats the deal? Any work arround? I like to at least use it to test sites that give me trouble in Aweb.

You need two libraries for Voyager which are deleted
when you clean your system with the built-in button.

    muilowlevel.library
    muigfx.library

Keep them and Voyager should work ... but when you
want to stay with this alpha you should stop using
Voyager ... but see yourself ;-)

If the public can reach it, then I suppose - yes!

Otherwise it would have had passwords etc, or not being on the web at all ...
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

I'm sure Stuntzi doesn't mind more people testing these betas, but
yes: they are *betas*! So using them just because "it's the newest" is
not a good idea if what you want is the most trouble-free system. MUI
is very complex so it's not easy knowing where the problem is.
Especially if you're testing something else, you should better have an
installation of the latest non-beta version to make sure you don't
report bugs as application bugs when they are not.

You should stop using Voyager anyway, regardless of your MUI version :-)

And about MUI beta... I used to update to the newest beta quite regularly, untill one version "just didn't work" and I had to boot with a boot CD. So of course you MAY use them, just beware, and keep backups :-)

Thats the only thing i dislike about mui4.
Voyager was the only browser that worked stable on my machine, before updating to mui4.
    Now every browser crashes. :/

Ok, aweb runs the best but still not like ibrowse on my a4000

I'm learning css+js, atm ... that forces me away from
    all available amiga-browsers ...

And now I know that all browsers suck ... not only
amiga-browsers ... even my favourity firefox is hell
slow when it comes to flash + css tricks ;-)

And when I thought I had good and working code for all
browsers, my boss started his mac ... brrr ... didnt know
how many shades of blue one and the same pixel can have :-D

    This one isn't needed here.

    > muigfx.library

The latest (and last) version of this lib (v20.631) is in the MUI archive dated April 1st.
