    Looks like you have old usergroup.library somewhere in your system. Upgrade to recent one (4.6). It's its bug.

    Yes, many of us use it.
    It is also explained in MOSNet README, read it. Remember to add/remove gebelspanel components adding lines in MOSNet generl.config file! ;)

    Hey Pavel what is the status of that MacOS Bootloader?
    And if i donate a SATA Controller would you make a SATA Driver for MOS?

    When i use gelbespanel with MOSNet i get after some minutes many litle yellow dots on the screen, it starts first on one screen and then i get it on all opened screens.

    So far the latest 1.0 release seems to work fine for me. One odd thing though is when I enter a web addres the first time there is a pause of about 3 seconds before it goes to the site. Any one else have this issue or know what caused it? I am using the internal ethernet on the Pegasos and have the IP set to DHCP. MiamiDX does not do this.

    Here too, except you can't DCC anything anymore using AMIRC. Everything looks normal, but DCC never starts and you notice something is wrong when the traffic in the channel is 0 even after the normal idle time of several days of everyone.

    Thank you very much, Sonic! :-)

    It works very well with MOS-PuP and x-surf NIC.

    Time to tweak with settings to optimize speed! (already ok anyway)

    A question: i've noticed that the TCP/IP stack is seen by the system as Miami (Scout) . . is this correct?

    Thanks again.

    EDIT- is this due miami.library? and miami.library is used by MiamiPanel only?

    Yes, it is. This is because of miami.library.

    No. It is used also by syslog viewer and DHCP client.

    OpenTTD doesn't seem to work with MOSNet. According to Tokai, the problem lies with MOSNet. Any ideas?

    After configuring it, everything seems to go well in my LAN, but I can't have access to anaything outside it. It's even more extrange, that I can't even ping to 192.168.0.1 (IP where I have my router). I can ping and even browse and whatever to anything else in my LAN.

    Do I have to make anything special to tell MOSNet my router is in 192.168.0.1? I have modified the static-routes file... anything else? ;)

    Hmmm... Everything should go well. In fact you should be able to ping 192.168.0.1 even without it since it's inside your subnet.
    What is your interface definition (IP/netmask)?

    The IP of my peg is 192.168.0.7, and the submask is set to 255.255.255.0 (and when I do a ifconfig, I can see that netmask 0xffffff00 which is correct).

    I'm sure it must be any kind of mistake made by me, but I can't find what it is...

    With the same parameters, Miami works correctly.

    I'm still not happy with the way the config files are done or at least documented in MOSNet. Its not that clear for a lot of people what needs to be edited and what does not. The docs need a bit more work still. The stack itself is fantastic though.

    I still have troubles using DHCP and web sites taking a few seconds to start loading. Its like its looking for the address and then finds it shortly after. Something that doesnt happen with Miami using all the settings I could figure out and move over to MOSNet.

    I also have the problem with a few seconds delay when looking up a
    DNS.

    Another problem I have happens when using BT with a popular torrent,
    maybe it's related to having too many connections (just a bad guess
    probably). I get the following errors (on "debug" level):
    Level Process Event
    error kernel m_clalloc:max amount of memory already used (1045312 bytes).
    error kernel sana_read (eth): not enough mbufs

    These two are repeated about 20 times each, then the network
    connection simply stops working. If I go offline/online in the panel
    it mostly starts working, sometimes not. Is there any way to increase
    this "max amount of memory"? :)

    I remember those errors on Genesis too. Happens, when there's too much traffic. Setting memory buffers to max (but not over the max!) helps, but only a bit.

    Don't know if / how that can be done with mosnet, I don't use it.

    are you using the latest MosNET 1.0?

    Which values of TCP_Sendspace and recv?

    @Acill

    try in general.config:

    USENS=NO

    (or USENS=FIRST) and check to have the right domain and nameserver in resolv.conf (i'm not using DHCP here)

    @Sonic

    what do you mean by "local database"? (in the README "USENS" option)

    Yes, MosNet 1.0. Cant't find anything about TCP_Sendspace in any doc
    or config file so I can't answer that.

    About delays in DNS lookups: check your default domain name in resolv.conf. Or if you don't have one or don't know what is it and how to set it up, jusr remove it.
    The problem in fact is: when you try to resolve a name MOSNet first tries to append a default domain to it. This results in something like morph.zone.my.local.domain. If my.local.domain is not actually configured in your local network it takes time for the DNS to find out that it doesn't exist.
