    @ Kronos

    >"buy a HD with Leopard installed"
    >Thats about as legal as just downloading a DVD-image somewhere else (and that would atleast give you >the option to change the install to your needs)

It may skirt legal issues, but its effective, and far easier than installing from a DVD.

    >"buy a 2nd HD for MorphOS"
    >Not really a option with a MacMini.

No, but buying an replacement would be a good option if all Vox has is a 40GB drive.
Does the Mac Mini use a 2.5" drive?

    @ Andreas

It also is not available anymore making the argument against simply obtaining by any means necessary questionable.

    Yes.

I didn't utter any "argument against simply obtaining by any means necessary".

Good point, and actually neither did Kronos (rather he suggested obtaining a DVD install disk from the internet).

While I have never been one to advocate this type of behavior, we are discussing an unusual circumstance. The OS is created and sold by the hardware vendor.
These machines virtually all shipped with some version of OSX. The final PPC upgrade is no longer available and is no longer supported.

Abandoned hardware, abandoned OS support, who do we hurt by obtaining it?

I actually rarely resort to OSX.
I find browsing under MorphOS preferable to TenFourFox under OSX.

Outside of MorphOS, the OS I still use frequently is still Win XP.
I wouldn't advise "obtaining" that, but then there are still shrink wrapped copies of that floating around (even though it is long overdue for discontinuation of support).
