I took a look and the Uboot is for sale I see. Does every update to that have a payment involved?

Yes, that's what they said would happen two weeks ago:

    I learned that here.
But here is the confirmation for those that suggested you would have to travel to a store in Timbuktu to find one.

Exactly. It was listed as available on the official webshop for about what? 72 hours? It makes me wonder if it was really new at all, or just a single refurbished RMA board sold as new. A-Eonkit has none in stock either.

You'd have to dig deep in A_W's bookmarks to find an obscure shop with one in stock. They seem to be available new in the same way Efika is available new.

Actually, Efika is never out of stock! Only MorphOS has new hardware available ATM ;-)

It's still possible to buy NOS G4 and G5 Macs apparently too.

One of them lists it as available currently.

It's different I think. Efika 5200B stock is constantly available simply because nobody wants it anymore, whereas Sam460 stock is quickly emptied everytime few boards become available.

Thanks. 33% higher price* than introductory pricing in 2003 for this 2.0 GHz PowerMac7,2. That's daring.

    * inflation-adjusted it's only 3%

Well, Amiga style pricing - same price region as Xx000.

Yes, I believe that certain Amiga gear (e.g. PowerUP hardware) is also being traded above introductory pricing meanwhile. And that's used, not even NOS.

    > same price region as Xx000.

At least I'm not aware that the X1000 is being sold used or as NOS above introductory price.

And once again Acube claims to have SAM460CR motherboards in stock (well at least one since it is listed as available).

What do you think guys, production or repair?

And they are out of there!
Either they sell well or these are repairs that are only available infrequently.

Interesting, this means there are NO OS4 systems currently available for sale.

I just acquired a Sam440ep-flex 733MHz 1GB RAM, Radeon 9250 128MB Gfx card, and wondered if that system is ever likely to get supported by MorphOS? As I'd love to give it a try on the hardware. 8-)

Much as I now see that the Sam460cr is going to get a new run of boards, which is great news, I cannot justify the 489 Euros to spend on it, plus the MorphOS licence fee. The licence fee I wouldn't mind paying if I could use it with the board I already own.

For the price it might be nice to pick one up. Not many boards run Morphos and AmigaOS 4.1 The screen on my Powerbook could go any day so I had been thinking of an alternative. What would be the best graphics card to get for both OS's?
    17" Powerbook. MorphOS registered
